Starts at $23.92, goes to $24.42 after 40 workdays. Requires a minimum of 2 years' sit‑down experience.

This role involves operating a sit-down forklift to load outbound trailers, pick up finished goods skids, and place them in the warehouse or onto trailers. Forklift Operators must operate the forklift with limited supervision in various warehouse capacities and perform all Radio Frequency (RF) scanning functions needed to receive, place, remove, transfer and ship finished products and supplies throughout the facility.

NOTE:

Riviana does not conduct any Cherry Picking, Reach Lift, or Pick & Pack types of warehouse operations – only sit‑down lift operations.

• 12‑hour shifts – day (6:00 am – 6:00 pm) or night (6:00 pm – 6:00 am) – the company will assign as needed
• Work overtime as required
• Must have at least 2 years' sit‑down experience
• Must have a current forklift driver’s license
• Willing to learn multiple roles in warehouse operations
• Able to operate computer equipment (scan gun and SAP)
• Learn quickly, proactive in efforts to improve warehouse operations
• Work well with others in a team environment (frequent, effective, and quick communication)

• Follow safety rules and operational procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for themselves and their peers
