Position Summary:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the day-to-day movement of product through our fulfillment operation—receiving inbound shipments, storing and organizing inventory, and picking, packing, and shipping customer and retail orders accurately. This is a hands-on, physical role that rewards attention to detail, reliability, and pride in doing the job right. The Warehouse Associate works as part of a close-knit warehouse team and plays a direct role in delivering the quality and service that define the Chêne brand.

Key Responsibilities:

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

  • Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Safely load and unload trucks.
  • Organize inventory and maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (where certified).
  • Perform routine inventory counts and report discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company policies and workplace safety procedures.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties and other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior warehouse, fulfillment, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience is a plus.
  • Ability to accurately read and fulfill orders, packing lists, and shipping documents.
  • Comfortable using handheld scanners, computers, and basic warehouse or inventory software.
  • Strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to accuracy.
  • Dependable and punctual, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Forklift certification, or willingness to become certified, is a plus.
  • An interest in the outdoors, hunting, or the Chêne brand is a plus.

Work Environment &

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is performed in a warehouse environment that may not be climate-controlled and can include exposure to seasonal temperatures, noise, and dust.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the warehouse for the duration of a shift.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and occasionally more with assistance or equipment.
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion are required.
  • Must be able to safely operate warehouse equipment and follow all safety protocols.
  • May require occasional overtime, including during peak seasons.
