Job SummarySets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate CNC and Manual Lathes
- Complete daily PM's
- Comply with company quality and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly PM's as outlined
- Perform other duties as assigned
COMPETENCIES:
TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

- Ability to read micrometers, snap gauges & other measuring devices

QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in CNC machining capacity
- High School Diploma or GED
- Machining Certification
- Ability to work in a Team oriented setting
- Good Communication skills – Verbal & Written
