Assistant Librarian
The Neenah Public Library is now accepting applications for a friendly, energetic, and knowledgeable Assistant Librarian to work with our Youth Services department. This is a regular, part-time position. Hours will include day, evening, and weekend hours.

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, creative, innovative Youth Services Assistant Librarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with patrons of all ages, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit.
Key responsibilities include planning, preparing, and implementing library programs; providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance at the Youth Service desk; booking meeting rooms for public or library use; guiding patrons in locating library materials, using the catalog, and accessing digital resources; helping maintain a welcoming and organized library environment; and performing other duties as assigned by the director or department heads.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree and two years of customer service experience. The schedule includes day, evening, and weekend hours.
Salary and benefits include a starting wage of $26.21 per hour, permanent part-time averaging 20 hours per week, paid vacation, sick, and holidays. This position does not contribute to Social Security. Instead, it contributes to Mid America, a Social Security alternative program.
