Faith Technologies Inc. (FTI) is seeking an Electrical Designer to support the Product Engineering team in Menasha, WI. The Electrical Designer will create electro‑mechanical parts and assemblies for products used in renewable energy, microgrid, EV charging, crypto mining, and data center markets.
Key Responsibilities- Perform electro‑mechanical designs and calculations under the supervision of an Engineer or Team Lead.
- Assist in the preparation of designs for power and low‑voltage products.
- Interact regularly with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Industrial Engineering staff.
- Present technical information during design meetings or reviews.
- Create and update 2D prints and 3D models for piece parts and components.
- Create and update 3D layouts of top‑level and sub‑level assemblies.
- Prepare Bills of Materials and Change Notices for component and assembly releases.
- Support the creation of technical manuals for operation and maintenance.
- Self‑check work to ensure accuracy to design specifications and standards.
- Provide technical assistance for prototype and pilot builds and production support as needed.
- Work with suppliers to integrate components into higher‑level system designs.
- Support service, aftermarket, and installation teams as required.
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Design or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years product design experience.
- Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD design software (Inventor, CATIA, Solid Works, Creo).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience in electrical design and drafting.
- Experience with electrical components or equipment.
- Experience in Bill of Materials creation and Change Notice processes.
- 5+ years of product design experience.
- Experience with large 3D assemblies.
- Experience with electrical components and assemblies, electrical schematic generation, harnesses, bus bar design, and power transmission principles.
- Experience with casting, machining, roto‑molded components, or fiber‑reinforced plastic components.
- Experience working with electrical components or equipment.
10‑25% travel.
Work ScheduleMonday–Friday, 7AM–5PM.
Work LocationMenasha, WI – onsite.
