Senior Electrical Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer position to support the Product Engineering team in Menasha, WI. Responsible for designing and specifying electrical and electro‑mechanical parts and assemblies for renewable energy, microgrid, EV charging, crypto mining, and data center markets.

• Provide guidance to less experienced engineers on design activities.
• Review technical drawings and electrical specifications to ensure proper application of products within assemblies.
• Support design of electrical components and subsystems for power/low‑voltage products, including component selection, wire harness creation, assembly design and installation.
• Perform complex design calculations or review others’ work for correctness.
• Study and understand government and industry standards that govern the products.
• Produce documentation needed to meet project goals: electrical schematics, component prints, assemblies, and compliance documents.
• Interact with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and industrial engineering staff.
• Participate and present technical information during design meetings or reviews.
• Support creation of 2D prints and 3D models for parts and components, including complex layouts of top‑level and sub‑level assemblies.
• Help develop product Bill of Materials structures to allow modularity and configurability of products.
• Prepare Bills of Materials and Change Notices to release components and assemblies.
• Support costing activities to achieve pricing targets at project level.
• Support creation of technical manuals for operation and maintenance.
• Self‑check work for accuracy to established drawing and design specifications and standards.
• Provide technical assistance for prototype and pilot builds and production support as needed.
• Work with suppliers to integrate components into higher‑level system designs.
• Support service, aftermarket, and installation teams as needed.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Working knowledge in 2D/3D CAD design software (Inventor, CATIA, Solid Works, Creo).
• Design experience with low‑voltage electrical circuits and PLC controllers.
• Electrical troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and corrective action experience.

• 8 years of product design experience.
• Design experience in electrical components or equipment within the energy industry.
• Experience with programming languages and controls software.
• Manufacturing and field support experience.
• Proven ability to lead designers and other engineers.

Travel: 10‑25%.

Work Schedule:

7 AM to 5 PM, Monday‑Friday, sufficient schedule to meet role expectations.

Work Location:

Onsite in Menasha, WI office. Role requires local presence, with workplace and schedule flexibility.
