Senior Electrical Designer

Position Overview

Faith Technologies Inc. (FTI) is looking for a Senior Electrical Designer to support the Product Engineering team located in Menasha, WI. The role involves designing electrical parts and assemblies for renewable energy, microgrid, EV charging, crypto mining, and data center products.

• Performs electrical designs and calculations with minimal guidance.
• Assists in the preparation of electrical designs for power and low voltage products.
• Interacts with the Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Industrial Engineering staff on a regular basis.
• Presents technical information during design meetings or reviews.
• Creates and updates 2D prints and 3D models for piece parts components.
• Creates and updates complex 3D layouts of top-level and sub-level assemblies.
• Helps develop product Bill of Material structures to allow for modularity and configurability of products.
• Prepares Bills of Materials and Change Notices to release components and assemblies.
• Supports the creation of technical manuals for operation and maintenance of related products.
• Self-checks own work to ensure accuracy to established drawing and design specifications and standards.
• Provides technical assistance for prototype and pilot builds along with production support as needed.
• Works with suppliers to integrate various components into higher-level system designs.
• Supports service, aftermarket, and installation teams as needed.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

• Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of product design experience; 8 years preferred.
• Proficient in 2D/3D CAD design software (Inventor, CATIA, Solid Works, Creo).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience in electrical components and assemblies, electrical schematic generation, electrical harnesses, bus bar design, and power transmission principles.

• Experience in Electrical Design and Drafting, Bill of Material creation and Change Notice processes, and fabrication and manufacturing techniques.
• 8 years of product design experience preferred.

Travel: 10‑25%.

Work Schedule:

7 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday.
