Senior Mechanical Designer – Product Engineering

Faith Technologies Inc. (FTI) is searching for a Senior Mechanical Designer for the Product Engineering team located in Menasha, WI. The Senior Mechanical Designer will be responsible for creating mechanical parts and assemblies for products that are used within the renewable energy, microgrid, EV charging, crypto mining, and data center markets.

The Senior Mechanical Designer will support the Design Engineering team using CAD tools to design and create both piece parts and multi-level assemblies of various products that are used within industry. Beyond the design activities, the individual will be expected to work with other disciplines within the organization to validate the design of the product, including taking input on design requirements, evaluating various solutions, presenting design concepts, and making recommendations on final design solutions.

This position should also have experience in material selection, component costing, fabrication processes, assembly processes, product verification and validation, and design trade-offs.

This position will create 2D prints and 3D models for both piece part components and assemblies along with assembly documentation. Understanding drawing standards, change notice practices, and creation on bills of material are required for this position.

Product Engineering Team

The Product Engineering Team sits at the intersection of innovation and execution, transforming ideas into real‑world products and solutions for Excellerate Products, a division of Faith Technologies Incorporated (FTI). From early concept through full‑scale production, our engineers design data center power distribution products, electric vehicle charging equipment, switchboards and more. With a strong focus on quality, manufacturability, and customer outcomes, we ensure every product is engineered to perform in the real world—safely, reliably, and at scale.

Minimum Requirements
  • Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent
  • 5+ years of product design experience
  • Proficient in 2D/3D CAD design software (Inventor, CATIA, Solid Works, Creo)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience in sheet metal or heavy fabrication design, casting, machining, roto‑molded components, or fiber‑reinforced plastic components
  • Experience in Mechanical Design and Drafting
  • Experience in bill of material creation and change notice processes
  • Experience in large 3D assemblies preferred
Preferred Requirements
  • 8 years of product design experience preferred
  • Experience in electrical components or equipment preferred
  • Experience in the design and development of electrical components preferred

Travel: 10-25%

Work Schedule:

This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday‑Friday. Works a sufficient schedule to meet the expectations of the role.

  • Interacts with the Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Industrial Engineering staff on a regular basis.
