The Engineering Team Lead, QA/QC is responsible for creating complete project QA/QC plans, resourcing plans and QA/QC budgets/proposals based on a clear understanding of the owner, facility and equipment design requirements. Plans include sequenced activities, schedules and documents, and encompass on‑site training, coaching and auditing of job site QA/QC activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve QA/QC processes, systems and standard documents that interface with Estimating, Engineering, BIM, Detailing, Prefabrication and Construction processes.
  • Become well versed in the quality requirements, expectations and specifications for specific strategic clients and projects.
  • Provide guidance to project managers, the Director of Quality and Commissioning and the Field Operations Leader on client‑specific quality requirements.
  • Support project engineers and teams with timelines and client or project specific requirements.
  • Create relational data sets such as equipment list, equipment group, feeders, feeder schedule and commissioning class from construction drawings, electrical specifications and submittals.
  • Outline, guide and mentor a team of engineers.
  • Ensure that detailed procedures, checklists and QA/QC plans are accurate and appropriate for the task.
  • Design new QA/QC programs by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams to evaluate output requirements and formats.
  • Provide guidance to office and field teams to ensure construction activities comply with specifications, codes and customer requirements.
  • Develop and address training needs for other QA/QC team members.
  • Develop written QA/QC work scope and estimates in accordance with RFPs.
  • Lead the development of systems, strategies and plans to achieve project QA/QC requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • Education:

    Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering Technology Degree
  • Education:

    Associate of Science in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering Technology Degree
  • Experience:

    8 years of related experience, with experience in hyperscale data center construction, electrical construction, and/or managing small teams (preferred)
  • Experience:

    12 years of related experience, with experience in hyperscale data center construction, electrical construction, and/or managing small teams (preferred)
Travel

0‑30%.

Work Schedule

Typical hours are 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday‑Friday, though work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
