Position
Purpose:
The Financial Analyst II will compile and analyze financial information integral to the core objectives and requirements of each department.
- Responsible for consolidating reports, month‑end journal entries, audit requests, scheduling, recurring meetings, and providing regular system maintenance for companies’ various manufacturing locations across North America.
- Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations of business units.
- Serves as primary point of contact for plant accounting staff.
- Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual business unit reports and ensures that financial information has been recorded accurately.
- Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to manager.
- Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
- Any and all financial analyst related tasks as directed by supervisor.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
- 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including excellent Excel skills and a proven ability to build complex financial models.
- Proficiency in Consolidation and ERP softwares, such as LV and JDE, preferred.
- Knowledge of Cost Accounting Systems, preferred.
- Experience with SQL, preferred.
- Must be results and deadline oriented with an ability to manage multiple assignments and work extended hours as dictated by the workload.
