Network Deployment Technician​/Jr. Network Engineer

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Network Deployment Technicians (Level II Network Engineers) to support a surge in new facility buildouts and nationwide network deployments. This role is highly hands‑on and operations‑driven, focused on installing, configuring, and bringing network infrastructure online for new sites. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working directly with hardware, executing deployments end‑to‑end, and seeing projects come to life in real time.

• Support network deployments for new facilities, branch offices, and job sites across the U.S.
• Perform rack & stack, cabling, labeling, and installation of network equipment in MDF/IDF environments
• Configure and deploy:
  • Cisco switches and routing equipment
  • Wireless access points
  • Firewalls and SD-WAN devices
• Apply and update pre‑built configurations using both CLI and GUI tools
• Assist with ISP circuit turn‑ups and ensure site connectivity readiness
• Conduct onsite validation, testing, and go‑live support
• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity and hardware issues during deployments
• Collaborate with internal network engineering teams for escalation and technical guidance
• Assist with hardware staging, inventory, and configuration at headquarters

• Network Engineering & Infrastructure Deployment
• Hands‑on experience with:
  • Firewalls, switches, and routing equipment
  • Rack & stack and structured cabling
  • Device setup and IP configuration changes
• Strong understanding of network deployment processes and best practices

• Experience supporting multi‑site or large‑scale network rollouts
• Familiarity with Cisco networking technologies and SD‑WAN solutions
• Ability to work independently in field environments with minimal supervision
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills

Intermediate (Level II) – Candidates should have prior hands‑on experience with network deployments and infrastructure installation.

Contract position based out of Menasha, WI.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. This is a fully onsite position in Menasha, WI.
