Job Responsibilities
- Design, install, monitor, maintain, and optimize Network Health Plan databases
- Ensure high levels of data availability
- Develop, implement, and oversee policies and procedures for database security, integrity and performance
- Participate in installation, configuration and testing of database systems
- Optimize database performance
- Control access permissions and privileges to maintain data integrity and security
- Provide long-term perspective on database technology to business opportunities
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in an Information Technology (IT) discipline or related field
- 5 years of MS-SQL experience, including SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- 2 years’ experience in a database administration role
