Job Overview
Faith Technologies, Inc. is a company that cares about leading the way in construction, engineering, manufacturing and renewable energy. The Procurement Agent I is responsible for procurement support from quotation to delivery using current systems and processes.
Minimum Requirements- Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or a relevant technical program.
- 0‑2 years of purchasing/buying experience in the electrical industry or another related business.
- Basic familiarity with electrical construction trade is preferred, but not required.
- Proficient use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite; willingness to learn FTI’s procurement systems.
- Limited travel (less than 10%) may be required to various FTI office or jobsite locations.
- Work schedule:
Monday‑Friday, 7AM‑5PM with potential overtime; role may include limited travel.

Proactively communicates issues, delays or opportunities to stakeholders; resolves delivery and service issues with suppliers and internal teams; seeks consensus without impacting expectations; gives and receives constructive feedback.
Functional/Technical SkillsApplies purchasing and trade material knowledge to each transaction; prepares purchase orders using established procedures; works with customers to define bills of materials; provides basic quoting services; demonstrates exceptional customer service; expedites supplier shipments, deliveries and pickups; uses supplier agreements, contract pricing, terms and conditions; utilizes FTI’s PO/ERP systems; maintains inventory levels; understands basics of LEAN principles.
NegotiatingUnderstand the negotiation process, enforce contract terms, employ negotiation techniques, and manage ad‑hoc negotiations when opportunities arise.
Organizational AgilityApproachable, collaborates effectively, influences others, understands policies and procedures, respects organizational culture, and follows formal channels to get things done.
Problem SolvingApplies continuous improvement concepts; gathers data with supervisor guidance; uses standard problem‑solving techniques such as cause and effect analysis; is resourceful and seeks assistance when needed.
