The QA Engineer1 is responsible for the successful development, implementation, and coordination of project QA/QC plans and documents, as well as conducting on‑site/job site training, coaching, and auditing of job site QA/QC activities. This work is completed under the general oversight of an upper level QA Engineer, and in coordination with the QA/QC Manager.
Ideal candidates must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, possess good interpersonal and effective oral and written communication skills, be able to understand one‑lines, schematics & drawings, have knowledge of electrical terminology and components, and be familiar with the National Electric Code (NEC).
Key Responsibilities- Education:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology Degree or Associate of Applied Science Degree. - Experience:
5 years of hands‑on field commissioning experience and a demonstrated aptitude for effective documentation.
