DSB Rock Island is hiring an Accountant for Business Services to support client accounting, bookkeeping, and business services work in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals while supporting a variety of accounting, tax, and client accounting services for privately held businesses. • Record transactions, maintain ledgers, and help prepare financial statements using accounting software
• Reconcile bank, credit card, loan, and intercompany accounts
• Assist with accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and depreciation calculations
• Support monthly client work and respond to routine accounting needs
• Contribute to accounting, bookkeeping, and tax-related projects as assigned

• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Clear written and verbal communication with clients and team members
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude, sound judgment, and high ethical standards
• Commitment to providing exceptional client service

• 0–5 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or internship experience preferred
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field preferred
• CPA eligibility is preferred
