We are looking for an experienced Purchasing and Inventory Analyst to join the team! In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our purchasing and inventory management processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. Your primary focus will be on forecasting demand, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Responsibilities include:
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify potential stockouts or excess inventory situations, and recommend appropriate actions to maintain optimal inventory balance and product availability.
  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer demand to develop accurate forecasts for inventory planning and purchasing activities.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, operations, finance, and brand management teams to support new product launches, product transitions, and promotional activities that may impact demand.
  • Support new brand onboarding by setting up items, forecasting initial buys, aligning launch strategies, and ensuring operational readiness across systems and processes.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of products—including onboarding, replenishment, discontinuation strategies, returns, and exit plans—to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Work with brand partners to manage and process returns, ensuring accuracy, minimizing losses, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
  • Partner with the finance and payables teams to help maintain a healthy payables position through clear communication, vendor alignment, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Generate and analyze reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, fill rate, aging, and order cycle time to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
