Job Summary
The Mobile Device Management (MDM) Technician is responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and repairing or coordinating the repair of mobile device hardware, software, and application problems. The Technician will manage mobile device operations, provide staff support, resolve incidents, and ensure timely, accurate, and complete assistance to users.
EssentialJob Duties
- Provide complete mobile device deployment and required paperwork.
- Procure mobile devices through company vendors.
- Provision and de-provision devices.
- Maintain accurate user documentation and mobile device information for cell phones, tablets, and hotspots.
- Ship, track, collect, reassign, decommission, and dispose of obsolete mobile devices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Certification as an Apple Genius (or equivalent) preferred.
- 3 years of experience supporting mobile devices and remote users required.
- Strong customer service experience.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Proficiency in Apple OS.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.
- Compliance with drug and alcohol policies and background screening requirements required.
- Occasional travel up to 20% required.
Work Environment Requirements
The employee is required to sit for long periods and may occasionally be required to bend, kneel, balance, lift up to 20 lb, walk, stand, ascend or descend stairs, drive, twist, and reach above and below shoulders.
The work environment is an indoor office setting with mild to moderate temperatures. The employee will work both independently and with others.
