Technical Proficiency:
Interpret engineering drawings and die designs, including tolerancing and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), to ensure precise manufacturing.;
Machinery Operation:
Safely and effectively operate manual equipment such as knee mills, surface grinders, lathes, drill presses, and boring machines.;
Component Manufacturing:
Fabricate simple and complex tool components that do not require CNC or Wire EDM equipment.;
Advanced Tooling Build:
Construct and assemble blanking dies, brake tools, and fixtures; set timing, align components, grind to size, position stops/stencils, and manually adjust cutting elements for proper function.;
Tooling Maintenance:
Sharpen, repair, and maintain tooling, including disassembling dies to repair or replace worn components.
