Quality System Manager

Our client, a growing manufacturing organization in the Twin Cities area, is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead and maintain their Quality Management System (QMS).This role is critical in ensuring products meet strict quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations while driving continuous improvement across operations.

Onsite in Mendota Heights

• Serve as the Quality Management Representative (QMR), ensuring the QMS is effectively implemented and maintained
• Develop, implement, and manage quality processes across departments
• Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / AS9100 / ISO 1348
  5 standards
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive action
• Oversee inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods
• Manage and mentor quality control staff, including scheduling, training, and performance oversight
• Maintain all quality documentation, including manuals, procedures, and records
• Report quality metrics and audit results to leadership, with actionable recommendations
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve product quality and manufacturing processes

• 5–8 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment
• Experienced leading the QMS through AS9100 or 1485 audits is required
• Strong knowledge of QMS systems and regulatory standards
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
