Pay Transparency/Compensation
Hourly Rate or Salary Range: $28.50/hr
Health and Welfare: $4.47
Instructor Responsibilities- Deliver classroom and field instruction to new and existing security personnel.
- Coordinate logistics for training events and maintain effective communication with training venues.
- Ensure training is conducted safely.
- Travel as needed within the assigned region to conduct training and inspections.
- Manage classroom equipment setup, breakdown, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve training venue or classroom issues effectively.
- Support development and delivery of remedial training when necessary.
- Prepare and maintain training materials including manuals, handouts, and multimedia tools.
- Utilize varied instructional methods such as lectures, simulations, group discussions, and hands-on demonstrations.
- Evaluate and improve training materials and course content.
- Conduct routine and scheduled quality assurance inspections across assigned sites.
- Perform site inspections and provide written reports.
- Monitor PSO compliance with post orders and contract standards.
- Validate personnel qualifications and ensure all required documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Provide support for validation processes including reviewing protocols and reports.
- Travel and physical requirements:
Exerting up to 200 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly to move objects. Visual and audio acuity to operate vehicles or machines, firearms, and clearing barrels. Able to stand for extended periods, may climb stairs or ladders and navigate uneven terrain. Must meet all physical and psychological standards as required by the contract. - May be subject to outdoor conditions including extreme temperatures and weather. Subject to high noise levels and hazards including proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to high heat or chemicals.

- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Possess an active Top-Secret Clearance.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in monitoring the quality of performance contracts involving personnel.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, military, or government contracting.
- Certified in the National Weapons Detection Training Program.
- Current ARC or AHA First Aid/CPR/AED certificate.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong public speaking and written communication abilities.
- Able to present effectively to large groups, including government clients.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Willing to travel 25-50% as needed within the assigned region.
