We are seeking a skilled and motivated automotive professional to join our service team. In this role, you will diagnose, inspect, maintain, and repair a wide range of vehicles while delivering high-quality work and a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate takes pride in accuracy, safety, teamwork, and efficient service execution.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repair services on customer vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and shop standards.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic concerns using appropriate tools, equipment, and diagnostic procedures.
- Complete inspections, document findings, and communicate repair recommendations clearly and professionally.
- Accurately perform oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, fluid exchanges, alignments, and other general service tasks as assigned.
- Follow all safety procedures, shop policies, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain organized work areas, tools, and equipment in proper working condition.
- Collaborate with service advisors and team members to support timely, high-quality vehicle repairs.
- Verify completed repairs through testing and quality checks before returning vehicles to service.
- Previous experience in automotive service, maintenance, or repair preferred.
- Working knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing reliable, accurate work.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and customers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative service team.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record, where permitted by local requirements.
- Ability to lift, move, and work with automotive parts and equipment as needed.
- Automotive Service Excellence or manufacturer-specific certifications.
- Experience with computer-based repair order systems or shop management software.
- Experience in a dealership, independent repair facility, or service center environment.
