Team Leader - IL

Job Title

Direct Responsibilities:
1. Assist the supervisor in leading the departmental safety program, including housekeeping disciplines and the investigation of all accidents and injuries.
2. Responsible to ensure employees work safely, utilize required PPE and follow safety procedures and policies.
3. Responsible for leading the Parts & End Panels department day to day operations.
4. Insure quality control processes are maintained and practiced, including quality check sheets, are followed daily.
5. Maintain material flow ensuring uninterrupted production.
6. Ensure production schedule is completed on time.
7. Assist the supervisor to train and develop all Parts & End Panels employees.
8. Promote and maintain a team environment consistent with company values and principles. a. Look for ways to help other departments. b. Communicate clearly and frequently your schedule status to downstream and upstream departments. c. Display a positive, "Can Do" attitude – be a change agent.
9. Display a willingness and availability to work irregular hours and overtime as needed. 10. Other duties as assigned. Indirect Responsibilities:
Act and represent Republic Industries in a manner consistent with company values at all times. Promote a work environment that encourages improvement of both individuals as well as the entire company wide team.

Skills/Abilities

Required:

1. Strong oral, written interpersonal communications skills.
2. Proficient communication in English, Spanish a plus.
3. Strong coaching and training skills
4. Self direction and initiative
