PLANT MANAGER

• Pay or shift range: $150,000 USD to $165,000 USD
  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

• Provides general administration and direction for all facility and maintenance operations.
• Owns and is accountable for plant manufacturing variances and performance.
• Follows Kingspan Operational Excellence model and leads the team to follow as well.
• Directs subordinatepersonnel,managers and supervisors to effectively and efficiently coordinate activities for all assigned functional areas of responsibility.
• Develops all organizational directives, policies and procedures that ensure effective operations and programs for facilities management.
• Reviewsprocessingand maintenance schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
• Reviewsfabrication and maintenance operations and confers with technical orsales support staff to resolve production or processing problems.
• Developsor implements production tracking orquality control systems, analyzing production,fabricationquality control, maintenance, or otheroperational reportsto detect production problems.
• Initiates or coordinates inventory or cost control programs in the Manufacturing and Maintenance Operations.
• Coordinatesor recommendsprocedures for facility,equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of machines.
• Identifies area of opportunity and improvement and addresses them with lean manufacturing principles.
• Maintains strategic operational plan for capital investment for site.
• Prepares annual operating budget in collaboration with subordinatepersonnel; develops and recommends an annual capital budget for long-range repairs and improvements to the facility; authorizes the requisition of equipment and supplies within budget guidelines.
• Conduct workforce assessments periodically and in conjunction with Human Resources so that staffing needs canbe measured,training and development goals can be established, and contingent workforce options canbe used to create an optimally staffed and trained workforce able to respond to the needs of the business.
  
  Resolveworkplace conflicts,investigate misconduct, wrongdoing anddetermineappropriateadverse actions.
• Institutes employee suggestions or involvement programs. Cultivates a team environment.

Management Duties: Carries outmanagementresponsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws.

Incumbent will have direct reports.

Skills, Knowledge &Abilities

Education and/or

Experience:

BS in engineering or other related engineering discipline,constructionor related field required.

Minimum of (5) fiveyears of experience in production management, orBS in business, plusat least seven (7) to ten (10) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment where at least five (5) of those years are in a production management rolewithprogressive responsibility and experience leading a multidisciplinary team of facility personnel.

Must have:

• Experience with business computer applications (Microsoft Office).
• Knowledge and practice of modern manufacturing techniques.
• Knowledge of laborand OSHAlawsand requirements.
• Strong leadershipandanalyticalskills with strong problem-solving ability.
