ResponsibilitiesThe Energy Delivery Specialist is responsible for the safe, timely, and compliant delivery of refined fuels, propane, lubricants, and related energy products to agricultural, commercial, and residential customers. This role operates commercial motor vehicles requiring a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements and ensures adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations including the U.S. Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT).
The Energy Delivery Specialist represents the cooperative in a professional manner, prioritizing safety, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service.
Qualifications- Required – High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred – Prior energy delivery, fuel transportation, or related operational roles is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided for qualified candidates.
- Required – Valid Driver’s License.
- Required – CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements.
- Required – DOT Medical Certification required and must be maintained in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Required – CTEP certification for propane delivery and cylinder filling, required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
