Under the direction of the School Principal(s) or assigned designee, teach, and instruct students who are assigned to campus in a traditional learning environment; plan, develop, organize, and assist in the operation of comprehensive program for students; perform other related functions as required.
Requirements / QualificationsTHIS IS FOR TWO FULL TIME TRADITIONAL IN PERSON SAI TEACHER:
Special Education High School Application will be screened and interviewed as they are submitted. 28 students caseload - with Instructional Aide support full time (6 hours) $12,750 in Health and Welfare Benefits Longevity Stipend at 5 Years of service $3,000 Special Education Credential stipend annually
Minimum Qualifications:
• Valid California
- Educational Specialist Instruction Credential
- Mild/Moderate Disabilities or Specialist Instruction Credential in Special Education
- Learning Handicapped
• Added Authorization - Autism

Employment in this position is contingent upon pre-employment clearances:
Department of Justice/FBI Clearance, Background Check, Negative Tuberculosis Test, Child Abuse/Mandated Reporting Training (AB 1432), Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (SB 1343), and legal documentation verifying your identity and any license/certification required by this job description.
o Verification of degree/additional units (column placement) - Units acceptable to initial placement must have been earned subsequent to the B.A. or B.S. degree. Units beyond Column I are semester units. Quarter units are converted to semester units on a scale of three (3) units to two (2) semester units. (Quarter Units x.667 = semester units.) Official transcript or official credit certificate will be required as verification for Column placement within thirty (30) calendar days from first day of paid service.
(Column 1-6) o Verification of years of service (step placement) - Credit will be given for all verified full-time service. A year must equal at least 75% of the calendared work year days in one year. Credit will not be given for substitute or student teaching. Verification of employment will be required on a school verification form within thirty (30) calendar days from first day of paid service.
