Details About This Position:

• Salary: $19.205 per hour
• Length of Work Year: Substitutes work on an on‑call basis

Important Notices:

• Please note that CalPERS Retirees are not eligible for substitute positions.

Depending on the substitute position, there may be testing and/or training required.

Selected candidates will be required to provide:

• Fingerprint clearance (through the MUSD Personnel office). Cost $78 (subject to change due to DOJ and FBI fees). All selected candidates will be emailed fingerprinting details and specific information in an orientation packet after the testing/selection process.
• TB clearance – must be less than 60 days old. We can accept a skin test, chest X‑ray, risk assessment or blood test to fulfill this requirement.

All new hires will be required to complete Keenan Online training based on the position.

• Two (2) references are required.
• At least one reference must be a supervisor.
• Please include email contacts for each reference.
• Letters of recommendation are not accepted in lieu of reference checks.
