DETAILS ABOUT THIS POSITION:

• Hourly range: Step 120.65 - Step 8 $ 29.06
  (Initial salary placement for this position is from Step 1 to Step 3, depending on the amount of reasonably related experience)
• Length of Work Year: M-F /12 Months
• Location:DEC - Purchasing
• Hours:7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience:

• One (1) year of experience operating a light or medium delivery vehicle.
• Possession of a valid and appropriate California Driver’s License
• Methods used in shipping, receiving, postage, mail and processing supplies and equipment.
• Physical aspects of storage of materials.
• Delivery vehicle operation and routine maintenance.
• Appropriate techniques for lifing and/or carrying supplies.
• Basic arithmetic and clerical skills.
• Safe work practices.
• Have an acceptable driving record and qualify for insurability by the District’s insurance carrier; all applicable state and federal licensing requirements.
