Job DescriptionDETAILS ABOUT THIS POSITION:
- Hourly range: Step 120.65 - Step 8 $ 29.06
(Initial salary placement for this position is from Step 1 to Step 3, depending on the amount of reasonably related experience) - Length of Work Year: M-F /12 Months
- Location:DEC - Purchasing
- Hours:7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
- One (1) year of experience operating a light or medium delivery vehicle.
- Possession of a valid and appropriate California Driver’s License
- Methods used in shipping, receiving, postage, mail and processing supplies and equipment.
- Physical aspects of storage of materials.
- Delivery vehicle operation and routine maintenance.
- Appropriate techniques for lifing and/or carrying supplies.
- Basic arithmetic and clerical skills.
- Safe work practices.
- Have an acceptable driving record and qualify for insurability by the District’s insurance carrier; all applicable state and federal licensing requirements.
