This finance and accounting position focuses on developing and managing cost accounting policies, especially around inventory, gross margin, and standard costs. The role involves strategic collaboration across departments such as Product Development, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs, and Commercialization.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish accurate standard costs for products in coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Provide cost data to support pricing decisions for new and existing products.
• Document and oversee end-to-end inventory processes.
• Ensure inventory valuation and gross margin accuracy under US GAAP.
• Monitor inventory balances and report on adjustments and COGS.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations related to inventory.
• Maintain internal controls and support audit processes.
• Track and report on low-margin and slow-moving inventory.

Qualifications

• Strong background in cost accounting and inventory analysis.
• CPIM certification preferred.
• Deep understanding of GAAP principles.
• Skilled in account reconciliation.
• Experience with Net Suite is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including formulas and data analysis.
