Executive Assistant, Gender Equity and Governance

The Foundation is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Program Director of the Gender Equity and Governance (GEG) Program, Hewlett’s largest program team with annual grantmaking of over $120 million. The role will serve as a key operational partner to the Program Director and Program Operations Manager, providing support with complex scheduling and travel coordination, executive communications, meeting preparation, research, and program-wide coordination across a globally oriented program portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate complex scheduling and travel arrangements for the Program Director and Program Operations Manager.
  • Manage executive communications, including drafting and editing correspondence, memos, and briefing materials.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, materials, and follow‑up actions for internal and external meetings.
  • Conduct research and compile information to support program planning, strategy discussions, and presentations.
  • Assist with program-wide coordination, ensuring alignment across multiple projects and stakeholders worldwide.
Qualifications
  • Highly organized with a strong ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proactive, intellectually curious, and capable of navigating both high‑level strategic initiatives and day‑to‑day execution.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong judgment in handling confidential information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to prepare clear and concise documents.
  • Experience coordinating travel and complex calendars for senior leadership is preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to gender equity, reproductive rights, governance, and global development issues.
Compensation and Benefits

This is a regular, full‑time, non‑exempt role based in Menlo Park, California, with a hybrid in‑office schedule. Salary range: $106,000 – $135,000, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
