Quality Section Manager

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and quality assurance industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Section Manager to join their team. As a vital part of the Quality Department supporting organizational excellence, the ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement, aligning successfully within a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Job Title: Quality Section Manager

Location: Menlo Park, CA

Pay Range: $40-44/hr

What's the Job?

• Supervise engineers and technicians to support and maintain Quality Systems, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
• Identify, plan, and execute medium‑size projects involving risk‑managed strategies and investigations, often managing multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Lead complex technical projects with cross‑functional teams, applying innovative methods and ensuring system‑wide impact considerations.
• Develop and mentor direct reports through targeted training, challenging assignments, and performance reviews to foster growth and excellence.
• Ensure timely documentation and compliance with internal standards and external regulations such as FDA, BSI, and EEO requirements.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of quality experience with demonstrated initiative and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong technical knowledge of quality systems, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to analyze complex problems involving multiple factors and develop effective solutions.
• Experience working with financial systems and fiscal controls is advantageous.
