Founded by two Harvard dropouts, Etched.ai is hiring talented engineers. We’re building a small, in‑person team in Menlo Park that’s optimistic about the future of AI and wants to enable orders‑of‑magnitude larger models.
We are seeking highly motivated signal integrity engineers to join our team. This role will report to the VP of Hardware Engineering.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with vendors, RTL designers, and validation engineers to complete SI tasks for our ASICs.
- Lead pre‑ and post‑layout simulation flow by creating models and developing methodology for SI simulation design.
- Work with the hardware design team to build SIPI simulations for boards/ASICs/SIPs, cross‑validating results in the lab.
- At least 5 years of experience in SI simulation design and measurement.
- Strong experience with pre‑silicon simulation tools (e.g., HFSS).
- Strong understanding of PDN characterization, impedance control, transmission line, etc.
- Willing to start quickly.
- Passionate about modern AIs like ChatGPT, and willing to learn about them on the job.
- Experience with chip‑to‑chip interconnects and HBM3 technology.
- Familiarity with transformer AIs.
