Manufacturing Engineer
Our client, a leader in the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III to join their team. As a Manufacturing Engineer III, you will be part of the Advanced Engineering department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer III
Location: Menlo Park, CA
Pay Range: 50 to 55/ hr on w2
What's the Job?- Design and develop vision systems for inspecting components during production.
- Manage project plans for automated equipment solutions and coordinate with vendors.
- Create and document robust fixtures and equipment in Solidworks for testing and manufacturing processes.
- Write design specifications and equipment qualification protocols for hardware and software.
- Execute equipment qualifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing equipment design, build, and commissioning.
- Experience with Cognex vision systems and creating models and fabrication drawings in Solidworks.
- Familiarity with Design For Manufacturability, tolerances, and assembly processes.
- Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
