Overview
Job Title: Lab Readiness Senior PM
Location: 100% Client Onsite (Menlo Park)
We are seeking a Lab Readiness Project Manager to support Custom NPI (TIA and NIC) and HACK program initiatives within Client Labs. With the growing number of custom NPIs driving increased lab setup and utilization, there is a critical need for a dedicated PM to ensure lab infrastructure readiness in alignment with NPI development schedules. This role will focus on coordinating lab buildouts, managing readiness milestones, and supporting cross-functional alignment between engineering, facilities, operations, and NPI program management teams.
Responsibilities- Drive end-to-end Lab Readiness efforts in support of custom NPI programs and HACK initiatives
. - Manage lab buildout schedules, equipment installation, and infrastructure readiness to support NPI development and testing.
- Partner with engineering, facilities, safety, and operations teams to ensure lab environments are compliant, functional, and aligned with program needs.
- Track readiness metrics, dependencies, and blockers; provide timely updates to NPI PMs and leadership.
- Coordinate allocation of lab resources
, including tools, benches, network setups, and environmental controls. - Maintain documentation for lab configuration, readiness checklists, and operational handoffs.
- Support scalability and repeatability of lab setup processes for future NPI growth.
- 5+ years of program or project management experience in a hardware, lab, or engineering operations environment.
- Proven experience managing facility buildouts, lab readiness, or NPI infrastructure
. - Strong understanding of NPI development life cycles
, engineering workflows, and lab operations. - Exceptional communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.
- Experience with Infrastructure programs or equivalent large-scale NPI environments (e.g., Apple, Google, Amazon, or similar).
- Background in hardware testing, validation, or lab operations management
. - Familiarity with TIA (Training & Inference Accelerator) or NIC (Network Interface Card) development programs.
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Technical background in electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering a plus.
