Battery Engineer/Scientist – Materials Science and Electrochemistry
Location:
Menlo Park, California, US.
We are seeking a Battery Engineer/Scientist to contribute to our battery and materials science consulting services. The role involves designing and running experiments, interpreting data, and preparing reports to address battery chemistry and material challenges for clients.
Responsibilities- Apply battery research and development experience to solve challenging battery electrochemistry and materials problems.
- Design and run experiments, including cell design, assembly, and failure analysis.
- Interpret and present data, prepare written reports, and present results to clients.
- Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Specialized knowledge of electrochemistry, lithium-ion batteries, and/or other battery technology.
- Understanding of cell design, cell assembly, and failure analysis.
- Hands‑on material and battery characterization experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong teamwork orientation with potential for technical and project management leadership.
- Authorized to work in the US; no immigration sponsorship required.
USD $140,000 – $160,000 per year.
