Electrical Engineer – Hardware Validation & Characterization

We are looking for a hands-on Electrical Engineer with a strong background in hardware validation and test to support product development across the full hardware lifecycle—from concept to release. The role will focus on validating complex electronic designs, executing high-speed signal testing, and contributing to system-level hardware qualification.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the full lifecycle of hardware development including requirements definition, architectural analysis, design, validation, and certification for production readiness.
• Perform detailed testing and validation of electronic systems including power and signal integrity, timing, and thermal behavior.
• Work on board bring-up and debug, including functional and interface-level testing (e.g., PCIe, DDR3/4, USB, SERDES).
• Use a variety of lab equipment such as high-speed oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power analyzers, and signal generators for circuit-level validation.
• Conduct EMC/EMI testing, PDN evaluations, and support system-level compliance activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and project delivery.
• Interpret schematics and layouts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Altium, Valor, GC Preview).
• Develop automation scripts for repetitive validation procedures.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in electrical validation and debugging of high-speed circuits
• Experience with microcontrollers, FPGAs, memory interfaces, and various communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, JTAG)
• Hands-on expertise with signal and power integrity concepts
• Familiarity with industry compliance and certification standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve complex hardware issues
• Experience working in a collaborative development environment with internal and external teams
