Project Engineer

Step into an exciting position as the engine room of a world-class healthcare environment where your work keeps lifesaving facilities running at their best. As a Project Engineer in the Facilities Engineering-Infrastructure department, you'll help keep our hospitals safe, reliable, and future-ready by driving the infrastructure projects that power patient care every day. You'll be the on-the-ground problem-solver who turns complex mechanical and controls upgrades into smooth, well-coordinated work in an active, 24/7 campus.

In this onsite role based at our Menlo Park facility and working at our Palo Alto campus and nearby facilities, you'll partner with a Project Manager to support capital and infrastructure projects from planning through commissioning. Your days will span site walks, contractor and stakeholder meetings, schedule and shutdown coordination, and keeping documentation, reports, and calendars tightly organized.

· Support planning, design reviews, site walks, and commissioning for multiple capital and infrastructure upgrade projects.

· Coordinate with contractors, end users, and Facilities on shutdowns and work in active, occupied spaces.

· Maintain effective communication with vendors, stakeholders and end users.

· Own the details—meeting minutes, construction reports, schedules, and document control across PM platforms and SharePoint.

· Verification and filing of any project related documentation

· Leverage 3–5 years in construction, engineering, or mechanical systems—healthcare or other 24/7 environments a strong plus.

The Facilities Services division enhances health through leadership, collaboration, and innovation. Our team offers essential non-clinical support 24/7, ensuring safe operations and planning for future needs. We represent the intersection of planning, construction, general services, and facilities operations.
