Working approximately 20-25 hours per week in the office, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for the monthly close for five operating Funds, the related managing member for each Fund, the management company and several companies affiliated with the firm’s partners. Job duties include accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking, cash management, calculation of capital calls, distributions and management fees, calculation of investment priority returns, preparation of schedules in connection with annual audits and tax returns for all assigned entities, maintaining investor portal information and assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and cash flow forecasts.

The individual will report to the two Principals of the firm and will also be working directly with the firm’s CFO in a sophisticated, entrepreneurial environment.

The ideal candidate will be a bright, ambitious, energetic self‑starter and a team player who can routinely use discretion and independent judgment with respect to performing all duties. Excellent analytical and communication skills along with attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.

Relevant experience in a real estate operating company or investment fund.

Peachtree, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Preferred, but a willingness to learn is a requirement.
