R&D Finance Analyst

Overview

This early‑in‑career role supports the Product Finance team, offering hands‑on exposure to financial planning, analysis and business partnership within a fast‑paced R&D organization. The role focuses on maintaining forecasts and analyzing performance across product lines and initiatives, while building strong business fundamentals and acumen.

• Support recurring reporting and own budgeting variance analyses.
• Translate data into actionable, clear insights for R&D stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with senior analysts and cross‑functional partners to navigate ambiguity, ask thoughtful questions and continuously improve processes.
• Grow into a strategic finance partner over time.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in finance, investment banking, consulting, or accounting
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels
• Proven financial modeling, forecasting and data analysis skills to support strategic decision making
• Strong sense of accountability with a proactive, solutions‑oriented approach to learning, improving, and driving work forward
• AI competency and familiarity – use AI tools to automate manual processes and deliverables
• Prior cloud‑based or SaaS company experience is a plus

• Estimated base salary range: $96,000 – $126,000.
• Eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.
