Soft Bank Investment Advisers is looking for a top medical mind to join its investment team. As part of the investment team, you will play an active role in diligencing, structuring, and financing transactions in life sciences and the health technology sectors, as well as assisting in our work with portfolio companies. You will work in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment with frequent opportunities to interact with startup executives and the firm’s senior leadership.

• Identify and diligence novel medical breakthroughs, innovative technologies, and recommend high-potential investments
• Conduct diligence and communicate insights to senior stakeholders
• Lead end-to-end analytical projects by quickly understanding context and developing structured analyses to reach alignment with stakeholders
• Support on key strategic projects with portfolio companies and on significant internal projects within Soft Bank

• Qualified Doctor of Medicine (MD), experience practicing as a physician in the US preferred
• Around one to three years’ work experience in consulting, investment banking, venture capital or in a relevant operational role
• Passion for innovation at the intersection of technology and human health or biology, especially the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in these settings
• Exceptional strategic, analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Driven, self-starter with a passion for excellence and tolerance for ambiguity and change
• Deep analytical, research and technical skills
