QA Analyst II

Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a QA Analyst II to join their team. As a QA Analyst II, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting software testing and development teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: QA Analyst II

Location: Menlo Park, CA

Pay Range: $38-$43

What's the Job?

• Develop and execute comprehensive software test plans to identify issues and ensure quality standards are met.
• Test system modifications and prepare for implementation, ensuring seamless integration.
• Create testing programs addressing database impacts, software scenarios, and usability concerns.
• Document software defects using bug tracking systems and report findings to developers.
• Monitor bug resolution efforts, track progress, and maintain databases of known defects.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a relevant field.
• Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, and computer hardware/software applications.
• Familiarity with design techniques, tools, and principles involved in producing technical plans and models.
• Understanding of engineering science and technology applications.
• Experience with computer development software such as Microsoft Visual Basic, Linux, JavaScript, etc.
