Product Designer, UI/UX Design
Observe by Snowflake is an AI-powered observability platform built on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud and engineered for scale. We ingest and store logs, metrics, traces, and events on an open, scalable data lakehouse, using open formats like Apache Iceberg, at dramatically lower cost. A dynamic Context Graph and chat-based AI SRE provide rich context and automated workflows so teams can move from detection to root cause and resolution 10x faster.
As a Senior Product Designer, you'll own the experience for some of the most high-stakes, technically complex workflows in enterprise software. The kind where your design decisions directly affect whether an incident takes 15 minutes or 3 hours to resolve. Your users are SREs and platform engineers debugging critical failures work lives at the intersection of agentic AI, real-time data, and deeply technical user needs.
This isn't a specs-execution role. You'll partner as a peer with product and engineering, shape design culture on a team being built from scratch, and help define what world-class observability UX looks like.

- A design portfolio that showcases your ability to design software that is beautiful, powerful, and intuitive
- Comfort designing for technical users and engaging with engineers on implementation tradeoffs
- Experience with AI-native surfaces: chat interfaces, agent-driven workflows, or explainability and trust patterns
- A prototype-first mindset; you’d rather show it than describe it
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions to PMs, engineers, and leadership
- Background in or deep familiarity with observability, monitoring, or incident response workflows
- Experience designing CLI-adjacent or developer tooling surfaces
- Familiarity with Observability tools
