QA Analyst

Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a QA Analyst I to join their team. As a QA Analyst I, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting software testing and quality improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: QA Analyst I

Location: Menlo Park, CA

Pay Range: $28-$33 per hour

• Develop and execute comprehensive software test plans to identify issues and ensure quality standards are met.
• Test system modifications to prepare for implementation, ensuring smooth deployment.
• Create testing programs addressing database impacts, software scenarios, and usability concerns.
• Document software defects using bug tracking systems and report findings to developers.
• Monitor bug resolution efforts and track progress to ensure timely fixes.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a relevant field.
• Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware/software.
• Familiarity with design techniques, tools, and principles involved in producing technical plans and models.
• Understanding of engineering science and technology applications.
• Basic experience with computer development software such as Microsoft Visual Basic, Linux, JavaScript, etc.
