QA Analyst III; Automation in Menlo Park, California

QA Analyst III (Automation)

We are seeking a QA Analyst III to join our team onsite in Menlo Park three days per week. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual and automated testing, quality metrics, and cross-functional collaboration and a proven ability to own test execution, improve test processes, and drive defect resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Execute and maintain manual and automated test cases for new and existing features.
• Reproduce, document, and triage bugs, partnering with engineering to drive resolution.
• Author and maintain clear, comprehensive test cases and test plans.
• Support QA leads with test strategy and test plan creation.
• Create and maintain dashboards to track quality metrics and test progress.
• Conduct Product Audits with QA lead guidance to analyze and improve QA test coverage.
• Conduct Bug Audits with QA lead guidance to analyze and identify product areas for improvement.
• Provide release readiness support for medium and small features.
• Lead test execution for small to medium-sized projects or features.
• Attend status meetings and represent QA in the absence of QA leads.
• Work onsite to collaborate directly with engineering and QA teams, ensuring product rigor.
• Support stealth projects requiring diligent execution and confidentiality.
• Run and lead benchmarking, battery, and performance testing.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proven experience writing and executing test cases and test plans.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple projects.
• Experience with dashboarding tools and quality metrics.
• Comfort with onsite collaboration and cross-functional engagement.
• Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, and SQL.

Preferred

Skills:

• Experience with performance, battery, and benchmarking test frameworks.
• Background in Agile or Scrum environments and release readiness practices.
