Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Dev Ops Software Engineer with 4–6 years of experience to join our team. You will be responsible for automating, scaling, and securing our GCP infrastructure and application delivery pipelines. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and security for our microservices architecture and data processing pipelines.
Responsibilities- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Design, deploy, and maintain GCP infrastructure using Terraform. - Kubernetes & Containerization:
Manage, scale, and secure production applications on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) using Docker and Helm charts. - CI/CD Pipeline Automation:
Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git Hub Actions, Jenkins) for seamless deployment of microservices and React.
JS web applications. - Auto Scaling & Performance:
Implement and maintain autoscaling for backend services and data pipelines, ensuring reliability. - Database & Message Broker Management:
Administer and optimize PostgreSQL, Star Rocks, and RabbitMQ for high performance. - ETL Data Pipeline Management:
Develop and maintain containerized ETL data pipelines to process high-volume data. - Security & IAM:
Manage user access and permissions using GCP IAM, ensuring secure infrastructure configuration. - Scripting & Automation:
Automate routine tasks and create integration scripts using Python. - Monitoring & Logging:
Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) to proactively identify production issues.
- Experience:
4+ years in a Dev Ops, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer role. - Cloud Platform:
Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Infrastructure:
Strong expertise in Terraform and Kubernetes (GKE). - Containerization:
Proficiency in Docker and Helm. - Languages:
Strong scripting skills in Python (Bash is a plus). - Data Technologies:
Experience with PostgreSQL, Star Rocks (or similar OLAP databases), and RabbitMQ. - Tools: CI/CD tools (Git Hub Actions, Jenkins) and monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana).
- Experience in optimizing React.
JS application deployments. - Understanding of object storage lifecycle policies (GCS).
- Experience with Infrastructure security audits.
