Strategic Finance - Product, AI​/ML and Analytics

For our client, we are seeking a Strategic Finance - Product Ai/ml And Analytics to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation.

Location:

Menlo Park, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $250,000 – $320,000 annually

• Serve as a strategic finance partner to product and engineering leaders
• Own revenue forecasting for AI and Analytics workloads, tracking various financial metrics
• Lead pricing strategy and commercial terms for AI products and drive market readiness
• Translate data on product usage and customer behavior into strategic recommendations
• Build business cases for major AI investments and assess their ROI
• Develop key performance indicators and reporting frameworks to enhance decision-making
• Manage a team of analysts, setting standards for analytical rigor and communication

• 8+ years in investment banking, management consulting, or strategic finance within tech
• Experience guiding product teams on growth and monetization strategies, especially in SaaS models
• Exceptional skills in financial modeling and analysis tied to product growth
• Strong business judgment to navigate fast-paced product environments
• Understanding of AI infrastructure economics and its impact on pricing
• Ability to distill complex data into actionable insights for product leaders
• Proven track record in people management and developing analytical talent
