Position Overview:
As a Staff/Principal Product Manager at Celerdata, you will lead the vision and roadmap for our advanced analytical database products. You will harness your deep technical background and market insights to guide the development of intuitive, industry-leading solutions that meet the complex needs of our customers. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership to drive product excellence and gain a competitive edge in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and evolve the product vision and roadmap for our analytical database solutions, ensuring alignment with both market trends and customer needs.Integrate advanced market research and competitor analysis into product strategy, identifying gaps and opportunities for innovation.Engage deeply with customers, users, and industry experts to gather insights, validate hypotheses, and translate feedback into actionable product enhancements.Lead the development and analysis of customer surveys, usage data, and industry trends to refine product usability and user experience.Product Development & Execution:
Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring that high-quality, scalable products are delivered on schedule.Collaborate with engineering, design, and QA teams to create detailed product prototypes, technical specifications, and comprehensive PRDs for our cloud services and on-premise solutions.Utilize analytical frameworks and data-driven decision making to prioritize product features and enhancements.Cross-Functional Leadership & Communication:
Act as the product evangelist both internally and externally by presenting product strategies, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders, customers, and industry analysts.Mentor and support junior product team members, elevating the overall product management function and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure effective product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution.Competitive & Industry Analysis:
Lead comprehensive competitor and market analyses, identifying trends and translating these insights into actionable product improvements.Keep abreast of technological advancements in the analytical database and data analytics domains, recommending proactive strategies to maintain Celerdata’s market leadership.Required Qualifications:
Experience & Expertise:
5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, specifically within SaaS, analytical database systems, or related data-driven product environments.Proven track record of launching and scaling complex technical products, preferably within the analytical database or big data sectors.Strong background in database technologies, product usability, and backend systems.Technical & Analytical Skills:
Deep understanding of database architectures, query optimization, and data analytics platforms.Ability to interpret complex data and user analytics to drive product decisions.Experience with product design tools (e.g., Figma) and agile methodologies.Leadership & Communication:
