We are looking for an Infrastructure Planning Leader to own Meta's medium-range and long-range infrastructure capacity planning process end to end. In this role you will work across infrastructure engineering teams, product groups, and finance to translate product and AI roadmaps into a multi-year plan for compute, power, and data center capacity. You will design the planning process itself, build alignment on it across a large and technically diverse set of partner teams, educate those teams on how to participate, and guide both demand and supply organizations through its execution.
This is a senior individual contributor role for a planning practitioner with depth across data center infrastructure, power, supply chain, and infrastructure demand.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 15+ years of experience in capacity planning, supply chain planning, or demand planning
- Experience designing and owning a recurring, multi-quarter planning process spanning multiple organizations
- Experience with data center infrastructure planning, including power, capacity, or supply chain constraints
- Experience presenting planning recommendations and trade-offs to executive-level audiences
- Experience with long-range capacity planning for hyperscale, cloud, or large-scale data center infrastructure
- Experience with capacity planning for AI or machine learning training and inference workloads
- Experience with quantitative modeling, scenario planning, or optimization methods applied to capacity or supply decisions
- Familiarity with data center power delivery, cooling, or site selection constraints in a hyperscale environment
- Experience partnering with finance organizations on capital planning or capital expenditure forecasting
- Experience with hardware supply chain planning, including supplier lead times, constraints, and procurement cycles
- Master's degree or PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Economics, or a relevant technical field
