PACU RN Part-time

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for an OR/PACU RN
Part‑time to join our team at Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area in Menlo Park, California
.

• Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, every other weekend
• Compensation: $65 to $68 per hour (commensurate with experience)

This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to patients and teams you support every day.

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems, formulate patient care plans
• Perform initial preoperative assessment, develop a plan of care, and explain the subsequent phases of surgery
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation
• Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed

• Active RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• 2 to 3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU experience strongly preferred
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgement
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
