Job Description Meta AI is seeking a highly motivated Senior AI Researcher to join our world-class team focused on advancing the state-of-the-art in foundation models. You will conduct groundbreaking research, design novel architectures, and develop algorithms that push the boundaries of what AI can achieve in areas like natural language understanding, generation, and multimodal learning.

This role offers the opportunity to publish in top-tier conferences, collaborate with leading researchers, and see your work impact millions of users globally.  Responsibilities:  - Lead research initiatives in large-scale AI models, including transformers and other deep learning architectures.

- Design, implement, and evaluate novel ML algorithms and techniques.

- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to a collaborative research environment.

- Publish research findings in leading AI conferences and journals.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to transition research into production systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

- PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.

- 5+ years of post-doctoral or industry research experience in AI/ML.

- Strong publication record in top AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, CVPR).

- Deep understanding of deep learning, particularly transformer architectures and large language models.

- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks like PyTorch.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience leading research projects and mentoring teams.

- Experience with distributed training of very large models.

- Expertise in areas such as natural language processing, computer vision, or reinforcement learning.
