As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be responsible for driving Skan’s inside sales efforts through cold outreach and warm lead follow-ups generated by marketing. You’ll engage potential customers via phone calls, emails, Linked In, and other digital platforms to generate new business leads and qualify inbound prospects. Working closely with our marketing and sales teams, you’ll play a critical role in building the sales pipeline and contributing to the company’s revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct cold outreach (phone calls, emails, Linked In messages) targeting different audience lists to generate new business opportunities.
  • Follow up with warm leads from marketing campaigns, inbound inquiries, and referrals.
  • Research and identify potential customers, industries, and decision-makers to target for outreach
  • Qualify prospects and schedule discovery meetings or demos for the sales team.
  • Maintain detailed records of all outreach and lead interactions in the CRM system (Hub Spot).
  • Manage the automated outbound prospecting platform inboxes by monitoring and acting on any replies received from target contacts.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop strategies for generating more qualified leads.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly targets for lead generation and meetings set
  • Attend industry events, webinars, and conferences (virtually or in person) to network and build relationships with potential customers.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing team on messaging and campaign effectiveness based on interactions with leads.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-6 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or similar role in the SaaS industry (experience in AI, Process Intelligence, or Automation is a plus).
  • Proven ability to manage cold outreach and follow-up processes effectively with a strong discipline to manage the lead pipeline efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Hub Spot) and sales automation tools.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Experience with Linked In Sales Navigator, Zoominfo or similar prospecting tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The US on-target compensation range for this full-time position is Base 60k-70k + Variable: 10%-15%. Actual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to work location, job-related skills, and experience. In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for benefits and equity.
